The fabric that I am using comes from this pillow I got from the Ikea As-Is corner. It cost me $3 and I am going to use it for this project and another up-coming project. The stuffing I am going to reuse to stuff what ever I need stuffing.
Here is what you will need for the Wine Gift Bag:
Fabric (2 pieces 8 X 15 inches)
Ribbon (I used a 24 inch length)
Coordinating thread
Wine
Sewing machine and simple sewing tools like scissors
Optional: Frey Check
5.) Put your bottle in the bag and decide high you want your bag to go by folding down the top.
6.) Once you have decided, sew your casing for your ribbon. My ribbon is thin so I made a 1/2 inch casing. If your ribbon is thicker you are going to want to make a bigger casing.
To sew your casing just sew around the bag making a little tunnel for your ribbon to go through.

Que bonito yo lo voy hacer pero hermoso!!! Felicitaciones Chany.-
Great idea for a personalized gift!
I should just sit down one day and make a stash busting bunch of these to have on hand. Great use of that pillow fabric.
This would be so cute with some Christmas fabric! Great idea :).
Great idea and it looks fairly simple to do. Thanks for sharing it!

I love that you saw that pillow as something else. Most people would just see the pillow and pass it up.
People must love getting gifts from you...you always have such unique ideas!!
Great idea!! I should make up a bunch to keep on hand just in case. Then all I'd have to do is pop by the store on the way out to the party.
